HEY New log entry yea! Buddy! I have finally finished "To Kill A Mockingbird"!!! Great book. I am now reading "White Oleander" I KNOW I KNOW total CHick flick, but so far its not a bad read. llol. Anyhow, it is July 4th and that means i have to work tonite at 6, but my job is actually a pretty good time, so.
I am pleased to say that i will be recording August 21-28 my folk album. This makes me very excited to go home to Pennsylvania. As far as i know, if i am lucky, The Gudgeons may just help me out a bit with it.....if i ask really really nicely. lol. To be honest i know this will be the best recording i have done yet, and I can't wait to get into it.
As well in August the ol' family is taken a trip to Florida, just my Dad, Michelle, and I. We are stayin in Orlando for ooooh over a week in early August. This is going to kick some major butt!
"Nashville Skyline" BOB DYLAN
I would have to say this album has been my biggest influence lately! It is one of my favorite Dylan albums, and it is a country album, it is freakin amazing!!! CHECK IT OUT!
| So im watching the movie Syriana right now, which just came out and it is a bit over my head. It is basically about the battle over oil companies in America and the Middle East and how corrupt the whole system is. But anyhow, Switzerland is playing a battle of the bands this sunday downtown Huntington, which will be alright i reckon.
Oh im reading the book "To kill a Mocking Bird", which i cant put down. It is amaz-za-zing! I am planning on recording my folk music when i get home to PA August 21-28. Which im excited about.

| well i think i will update u all on whats goin on with me and my music. that seems to be the only thing that is changing...improving i would like to think. i have been writing a lot more folk songs to play out a lot more at open mic nights at all the many coffee houses and foling revolution shows...which if u dont konw what the folking revolution is, thats okay, its just local musicians that challenge each others playing and song writing. So i really feel like im being challenged in the area of songwriting lately and im trying new forms of writing and playing, which is a lot of fun. Umm... the band, Switzerland that is, is still together, summers are hard on us cuz our guitarist Tyler is an hour away. We are still recording a demo which we've been working on for a while, it will be out around the start of the school year hopefully. We have two shows lined up this summer, so not too many. Im real excited about playing some acoustic music by myself again, like the good ol' Sr. year of high school...oh but better. lol i think... well thats all for now i guess. drop me a line! | | |
